**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, fascinated by dragons and continuously drawing dragon images.Having studied the spirit of Japanese martial arts through 14 years of karate from age 6, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Ichipitsu Ryu dating back to the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detaching, transcending).He is one of only three known Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
