**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, fascinated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images.Having learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts through 14 years of karate from age 6, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny and mastering it through self-study.He preserves the tradition of Ichipitsu Ryu dating back to the Edo period, pursuing the dragon with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detaching, and transcending).
He is considered one of only three Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and destined encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
