**About the Artist / Keiuke Teshima**Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images.Having studied the spirit of Japanese martial arts through 14 years of karate from age 6, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method, feeling it was his destiny.He learned the technique through self-study, preserving the tradition passed down since the Edo period, and pursues dragons with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city believed to be inhabited by the Dragon God, as if guided by fate and fortunate encounters.
