**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, captivated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichipitsu Ryu dating back to the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).
He is considered one of only three Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
