**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, fascinated by dragons, he has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history. Believing it to be his divine mission, he learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Ichipitsu Ryu that has continued since the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
