**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny and mastering it through self-study.He preserves the tradition of Ichipitsu Ryu dating back to the Edo period, pursuing the dragon with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
