**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images.Having studied the spirit of Japanese martial arts through 14 years of karate from age 6, he encountered the traditional "Ichipitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny.He learned the technique through self-study, respecting the tradition that has continued since the Edo period, pursuing the dragon with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ichipitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
