**Kyoto Ichipitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, captivated by dragons, he has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional *Ichipitsu Ryu* and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the *Ichipitsu Ryu* from the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of *Shuhari* (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three *Ichipitsu Ryu* artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
