**About the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study, respecting the tradition that has continued for over 400 years since the Edo period, and pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—drawn by fortunate encounters and the presence of the dragon gods dwelling in the ancient capital.
