**Manufacturing Details:**

- **Printing Factory:**Printed at a T-shirt printing factory in Fukui Prefecture, which owns multiple in-house facilities.- Approximate annual output: 800,000 shirts
- **Finishing and Packaging:**Final setup, inspection, packaging, and domestic and international logistics are managed by the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Office's finishing workshop (located in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture).- For larger quantities, partner companies may also be involved.
**Transfer (DTF) Printing Method:**This method involves printing on a special film and then heat-pressing onto the fabric using a commercial press.- No need for plate creation, unlimited color options, suitable for printing on fabrics other than cotton.- Capable of full-color designs and photographs with vibrant, sharp, and vivid results.- **Note:** Over time, or with repeated washing, the print may peel or deteriorate.
**Cautions:**- Dark-colored garments require pre-treatment, which may leave stains on the treated areas. These marks will be present upon delivery but will fade after several washes.- Drying with the print face pressed against other surfaces may cause peeling; please separate the print surfaces promptly after washing.- Hand washing inside out helps preserve colors. If using a washing machine, place the garment in a laundry net.- Avoid bleach, dry cleaning, ironing, and tumble drying as much as possible.- Some garments may experience color fading after the first wash; it is recommended to wash separately from other clothes initially.
**What is the 'One-Stroke Dragon'?**A dragon drawn with a single continuous brushstroke, symbolizing unbroken development and wealth, endless good relationships and growth, and ongoing protection and safety. **Artist Profile: Keisuke Teshima**From a young age, captivated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of traditional Japanese martial arts, he encountered the ancient 'One-Stroke Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its craftsmanship and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study, respecting the tradition that has been passed down since the Edo period, and pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).
He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various serendipitous and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—a city with a 1,000-year history as the dwelling place of dragon gods.
**Kyoto—The City of Dragon Gods**Kyoto has been regarded for over a thousand years as a place imbued with the power of dragon spirits residing in dragon holes and dragon veins. Many shrines and temples associated with dragons exist, and pilgrimages to worship these dragon deities have been actively carried out from ancient times to the present.
**Dragon (Ryujin) Belief in Japan**Japan has long been considered a mysterious land where dragons dwell, regarded as divine messengers or incarnations of the gods themselves. Many shrines, temples, myths, and legends worship dragon deities, symbolizing prosperity and protection.
