**About the Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age six, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'Ippitsu Ryu' while pursuing the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).One of only three known Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by various serendipitous and destined encounters, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
