**About the Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu artist, Keisuke Teshima:**Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ippitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu that has been passed down since the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).One of only three known Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama, Kyoto, where his atelier is located, seemingly guided by the blessings of the dragon gods.
