Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.While preserving the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon,' he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by various fortunate and fateful encounters, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
