**About the Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**
- Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images.- Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny.- He mastered the technique through self-study, respecting the tradition that has continued for over 400 years since the Edo period.- He pursues the dragon with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (a martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and mastery).- One of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.- Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by various serendipitous and inevitable connections, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
