**About the Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of traditional Japanese martial arts, he encountered the ancient 'Ippitsu Ryu' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and craftsmanship. Believing it to be his divine calling, he mastered the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by fortunate and fateful encounters, and as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
