**[Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima]**Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images.Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of traditional Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ippitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny.He mastered the technique through self-study, respecting the tradition of the Edo period (1603–1868) and pursuing the dragon with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto—a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
