**About the Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Inspired by dragons from childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate from age six, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu since the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detaching, and transcendence).One of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists believed to exist in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by various fortunate coincidences and inevitable connections, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
