【Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima】Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of traditional Japanese martial arts, he encountered the ancient 'Ippitsu Ryu' technique and was deeply impressed by its method and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period Ippitsu Ryu while pursuing the art with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—the ancient city where dragons are believed to dwell, and where the dragon gods reside.
