It has been upgraded from the previous slim silhouette model to a more relaxed fit.
This is a second-type denim jacket crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from fabric to sewing and silhouette.
It is based on the vintage Levi's 507XX (2nd Type) paper patch owned by TCB.
With the renewal of the 50's Jacket, production of the old type has been discontinued.
Both the new relaxed fit and the slim old type offer their own unique appeal.

**Material:**
Made from Zimbabwe Cotton.
Zimbabwe Cotton is renowned as one of the highest quality brand varieties, used even for dress shirts in Europe.
It is harvested by hand without machinery, making it nearly pesticide-free.
This results in less damage and impurities during harvest, superior whiteness, high fiber uniformity, and a cotton that is glossy and soft.
Using Zimbabwe Cotton, the fabric is produced with traditional spinning machines, ensuring a fabric crafted with care from the raw material.
**Fabric Details:**
The fabric used is approximately 13.5 oz (based on a 6×6 class warp and weft, though "class" and "approximate" are used because of uneven yarns).
It is spun using traditional machinery, not the modern computer-controlled methods that produce unevenness artificially.
The fabric features a thick, short fall of the selvage, creating a natural line when worn, showcasing the best vertical drape.

It is a 2nd type denim jacket with pleats and chest pockets.
The jacket is designed to embody TCB Jeans' vintage aesthetic, timeless and free from fleeting trends.
**Features:**
- The front features pleats, a characteristic of the 2nd type.
- The pleats are sewn with great attention to detail.
**Stitching and Construction:**
- The front pleats are recreated based on vintage designs, sewn from start to finish with a "Square Stitch Sewing Machine."
- The chest pockets are sewn with double-needle stitching, with distinctive "rice ball" shaped stitches at the corners, faithfully reproducing vintage craftsmanship.
- The pocket flaps are sewn without cutting the thread, maintaining authenticity.
- The pocket reinforcements are adjusted in thickness and width based on vintage standards and positioned accurately.
- The side construction varies by size:
- Sizes 38 and below use a single stitch.
- Sizes 40 and above have additional fabric and double stitches.
- The variation in sewing details by size is a hallmark of a genuine factory brand.
**Adjusters and Buttons:**
- Side adjusters are included, a classic feature of the 2nd type, allowing about one button's adjustment.
- The buttons are original, modeled after vintage designs, engraved with "TWO CAT BRAND."
- Made of iron, they develop a patina over time.

- Equipped with a single button for easy rolling.
- The rivets on the sleeves are copper, durable and aging beautifully.
**Construction Details:**
- The armholes are sewn with rolled seams, a challenging process in manufacturing.

- The pleats on the front use selvage fabric, maintaining vintage authenticity.
- The patch is a paper patch, replaced from leather around 1957, faithfully reproducing vintage patches.
