**About the Artist: Keisuke Teshima**Since childhood, he has been captivated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of traditional Japanese martial arts, he encountered the ancient 'One-Stroke Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its method and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the 'One-Stroke Dragon' dating back to the Edo period, pursuing it with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detaching, and transcending).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, where he has established his atelier, guided by various serendipitous and inevitable connections, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
