**About the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continuously drawn dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashi-ku, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history of dragons dwelling in its sacred sites, guided by various fortunate coincidences and connections, and has established his atelier there.
