**About the Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**
- Has been fascinated by dragons since childhood and continues to draw dragon images.- Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, through which he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts.- Encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its method and history, feeling it was his destiny.- Self-taught in this technique, he preserves the tradition passed down since the Edo period, pursuing mastery with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).- One of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.- Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, but through various serendipitous and inevitable connections, he now has an atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history as the dwelling place of dragon gods.
