【Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima】Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which teaches the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique, history, and significance, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.While preserving the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu that has been passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where his atelier is located—guided by various serendipitous and inevitable connections, as if led by the dragon gods themselves.
