From childhood, fascinated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing it with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he now resides in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, where he has established his atelier, seemingly guided by the dragon gods, amid fortunate coincidences and meaningful encounters.
