【Kyoto Ichifude Ryu Artist / Keisuke Tejima】From childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifude Ryu』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Ryu that has continued since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three Ichifude Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
