【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifude Dragon is a dragon drawn with a single brushstroke (one stroke) without breaking the body, embodying wishes and prayers. It is believed to represent 'uninterrupted development and wealth,' 'endless good relationships and growth,' and 'continued protection and safety.' For approximately 400 years since the Edo period (1603–1868), it has been revered as a powerful divine protector, with strong blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down as a sacred dragon.*The 'Kyoto Ichifude Dragon's Blessing / Symbol of Blessings = drawn in one continuous stroke without breaking the body.'*

【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (a concept of learning, detachment, and mastery).He is considered one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
