【Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima】Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which teaches the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique, history, and significance, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the dragon with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery).He is one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto—the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
