【What is Ichifude Ryu?】As the name suggests, Ichifude Ryu is a dragon drawn with a single brushstroke (one-fude) that continuously depicts the body without interruption, while containing wishes and prayers. It is believed to symbolize:- Unbroken development and financial luck- Endless connections and growth through good relationships- Continuous protection and safetySince the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been revered as a powerful divine protector, believed to bring blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully handed down as a divine dragon.

【Kyoto Ichifude Ryu Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifude Ryu』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Ryu passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of mastery and evolution). He is one of only three Ichifude Ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
