【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifudragon is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one stroke) without breaking the body part, embodying wishes and prayers. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique, was deeply impressed by its history and technique, and felt it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
