【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, which he practiced from age 6, and learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique and was deeply impressed by its history and significance. Believing it to be his divine mission, he mastered the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon dating back to the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a concept of mastery and evolution). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate coincidences and connections to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
