【What is Ichifude (One-stroke) Dragon?】As the name suggests, it is a dragon drawn with wishes and prayers, without breaking the body part, using a single brush stroke (one stroke). 【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifude Dragon』 and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Dragons that has continued since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (a martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and transcendence). He is considered one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
