【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifude Dragon is drawn with a single brush stroke (one continuous stroke) without breaking the body part, embodying wishes and prayers. 【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method. Believing it to be his divine mission, he learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifude Dragons dating back to the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
