【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifudragon is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one stroke) that unbrokenly depicts the body part while wishing and praying. 【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique, which deeply impressed him with its history and method. Believing it to be his divine mission, he learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon that has been passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
