【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn in one continuous stroke with a brush, without breaking the body part, while wishing and praying. 【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifude Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique self-taught, believing in his divine mission. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (a Japanese martial arts concept of learning, detachment, and mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragon gods dwell.
