【What is Ichifude Dragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifude Dragon is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one-fude) without breaking the continuity of the body, while imbued with wishes and prayers. It is believed to represent:- Continuous development and wealth- Unbroken connections and growth through good relationships- Ongoing protection and safetySince the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been revered as a powerful guardian deity, believed to bring blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down.

【Kyoto Ichifude Dragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, fascinated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate from age 6, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional ‘Ichifude Dragon’ technique and was deeply impressed by its history and method, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ichifude Dragon that has been passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of ‘Shuhari’ (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifude Dragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
