【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the dragon is drawn with a single brush stroke (Ichifu) without breaking the body part, while wishing and praying, embodying the idea that 『development and financial luck will not be interrupted』『good relationships and growth will continue without interruption, connecting people』『protection and safety will be maintained continuously』. Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for about 400 years to the present, the dragon gods have been highly revered and believed to bring strong blessings and benefits, and their wishes have been passed down and trusted.

【Kyoto Ichifudragon artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by learning the spirit of Japanese martial arts through 14 years of karate from age 6, he encountered the traditional 『Ichifudragon』 technique, was deeply impressed by its history and technique, and felt it was his destiny, mastering it through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 【Shuhari】 (learning, detachment, mastery). He is considered one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto, the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
