【What is Ichifudragon?】As the name suggests, the Ichifudragon is a dragon drawn with a single brush stroke (one stroke) that unbrokenly depicts the body part while wishing and praying. It is believed to represent 'continuous development and wealth,' 'unbroken good relationships and growth that connect people,' and 'ongoing protection and safety.' Since the Edo period (1603–1868), for approximately 400 years, it has been highly revered as a divine dragon, believed to bring strong blessings and benefits, and has been faithfully passed down.

【Kyoto Ichifudragon Artist / Keisuke Tejima】Since childhood, he has been fascinated by dragons and has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of practicing karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ichifudragon' technique and was deeply impressed by its history and technique, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ichifudragon passed down since the Edo period, he pursues dragons with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery). He is one of only three Ichifudragon artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various coincidences and inevitable connections, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
