＜Cautions＞- Dark-colored garments require pre-treatment, which may leave stains on the treated areas. 【Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima】Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by the 14 years of practicing karate, which teaches the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional "Ippitsu Ryu" and was deeply impressed by its technique, history, and significance, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study.He preserves the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu that has been passed down since the Edo period, pursuing the dragon with the spirit of "Shuhari" (learning, detachment, mastery).He is considered one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists in Japan.Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by various fortunate and fateful encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
