**Kyoto One-Stroke Dragon Artist / Keisuke Teshima:**Since childhood, captivated by dragons, he has continued to draw dragon images. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'One-Stroke Dragon' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He mastered the technique through self-study.- He preserves the tradition of the Edo-period 'One-Stroke Dragon' while pursuing the 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery) spirit.- One of only three known 'One-Stroke Dragon' artists in Japan.- Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, he was guided by fortunate and inevitable encounters to establish his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto—a city with a 1,000-year history where dragons are believed to dwell.
