＜Cautions＞- Dark-colored garments require pre-treatment, which may leave stains on the treated areas. The stains will be less noticeable after several washes.- Drying with the print face pressed against other surfaces may cause peeling. After washing in a machine, peel apart the printed surfaces as soon as possible.- Washing inside out by hand prolongs color retention. 【Kyoto Ippitsu Ryu Artist / Keisuke Teshima】Drawn to dragons from childhood, he has continued to create dragon art. Influenced by 14 years of karate, where he learned the spirit of Japanese martial arts, he encountered the traditional 'Ippitsu Ryu' and was deeply impressed by its technique and history, feeling it was his destiny. He learned the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of the Ippitsu Ryu passed down since the Edo period, he pursues the art with the spirit of 'Shuhari' (learning, detachment, mastery).
He is one of only three Ippitsu Ryu artists believed to exist in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through various serendipitous and inevitable encounters, he was guided to establish his atelier in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto—the ancient capital where dragons are believed to dwell.
