いつも」と「もしも」がひとつになった、笛のアクセサリーeffe
「effe」は普段から身につけられるようなアクセサリーであり、いざという時持ち主を守ってくれるお守りであるような存在でありたいという気持ちから生まれました。
「美しさを表現する」一方で次第に、小さな子供たちにもその安全を届ける方法はないだろうか、子供が喜んで日常に身に付けてくれるものは何だろうかと。
そして生まれたのが「effe pensiero」エッフェペンシエロ。
pensiero(ペンシエロ)とは、イタリア語で相手の負担にならないような「ちょっとした贈り物」、「気遣い・思いやり」を意味します。
普段の日のなんでもない時の、ささやかな贈ったり贈られたりの嬉しさ。
相手が喜ぶものはなんだろうとあれこれ思い巡らす楽しみ。
思いやりが生む幸せのループをたくさん届けたい。
大人も選ぶのが楽しくなるようなシリーズです。

《きっかけ》
鯖江市防災課の方より、「メガネの素材はとてもきれいなので、アクセサリーのような笛はできないでしょうか？」というご依頼を頂きました。
聞けば阪神大震災以降、県や市は防災意識を高めようと笛を配布したけれども、多くの人がカバンの中にしまいこみ、これではいざという時に使えない、とのこと。
それを解決するため、普段使いができる笛のアクセサリーを作ってみようと思ったのが、effeシリーズがうまれたきっかけです。
《音づくり》
人の耳に聞こえやすい2kHz～5kHzの音の中で、がれきの下からでも遠くまで響く高音域4kHzを中心に音が鳴るようにしています。また、救助犬への聞こえやすさも配慮しつつ、12kHz・16kHz・20kHzの音がきれいな層をなすよう作っています。5秒間の平均騒音測定で85dB以上の音が測定されています。(工場試験場指導のもと測定)

《名前の由来》
素材のセルロースアセテートはイタリア生まれ。
イタリア語で「F」をeffe(エッフェ)と発音し、
FにはFukui(福井),Factory(工場),Fue(笛)といろいろな意味が込められています。
また「えっ、ふえ(笛)！？」と驚くような、笛の概念にとらわれないものをつくりたいという思いも込めています。
