Yusen is a Buddhist altar with a simple furniture-style design, featuring a distinctive design using vertical lattice and glass, characteristic of Japanese craftsmanship.

The vertical lattice on the back panel symbolizes "Japanese harmony," while the glass panel of the Sumi-dan (altar shelf) represents "water." Using glass on the upper tier creates an effect of spaciousness inside and gives the impression that the principal image is floating, which is a thoughtful design feature.
The upper tier and the base plate are removable, making it safe and convenient even for households with many memorial tablets and other items.

Because the altar is designed to be assembled in two parts, a dedicated dowel is used during installation to prevent misalignment.
The lower stand functions as storage space, where you can keep the belongings of the deceased, incense sticks, and prayer beads.
