Yuzen is a Buddhist altar with a simple furniture-style design, incorporating distinctive features using vertical lattice and glass, characteristic of Japanese craftsmanship.

The vertical lattice on the back panel symbolizes "Japanese style," and the glass panel of the Sumi-dan (main altar platform) represents "water." Using glass on the upper tier creates an effect of making the interior look spacious and gives the impression that the principal image is floating.
Also, the upper tier and the base plate are removable, making it safe even for households with many memorial tablets.

Since the Buddhist altar is designed to be divided into upper and lower parts, a dedicated dowel is used during installation to prevent misalignment.
The lower stand serves as storage space, where you can store the belongings of the deceased, incense sticks, and prayer beads.
