It is best to choose a size that matches the size of your Buddhist altar.
Generally, sizes from 4.0 sun (small altar) to 4.5 sun (medium altar) are commonly selected. Sizes over 5.0 sun suit large altars.
Measure carefully whether the chosen memorial tablet can be placed in the space for enshrinement (usually the second tier from the top, left and right) of your Buddhist altar.

The size of a memorial tablet is generally expressed in 'sun', such as 4 sun or 4.5 sun. One sun equals 3.03 cm.
For example, a 4-sun memorial tablet has a 'plate height' approximately equal to 4 (sun) × 3.03 (cm) = 12.12 cm.
Please note that this dimension usually refers to the 'plate height' and does not indicate the 'total height' (from top to bottom).
