This product is a set of stands for the principal image and attendant images of the Nichiren sect.
Compared to traditional hanging scrolls, these can be displayed more neatly, making them recommended for modern and simple Buddhist altars.
The principal image, the Mandala, is enshrined in the center of the upper tier of the Buddhist altar.
Daikokuten (right) is the god of grains and wealth, and is enshrined on the upper tier of the Buddhist altar, towards the right.
Kishimojin (left) is the god of safe childbirth and child-rearing, and is enshrined on the upper tier of the Buddhist altar, towards the left.
*The left and right may be reversed depending on the temple or region.
"Stand Hanging Scroll Rinne" is a set product consisting of a wooden stand frame + hanging scroll + acrylic protective cover for the hanging scroll.
By using the hanging scroll within the frame, you do not have to worry about the warping or bending that can occur with paper hanging scrolls.
By placing the acrylic plate in front of the hanging scroll for protection, maintenance is easy.
*The acrylic plate has a protective sheet. Please peel it off before use.
The stand frame comes in two colors: Wall and Light.
You can choose your preferred color to match the color of your Buddhist altar.
We recommend choosing a color that is close to the color of your Buddhist altar, or one that creates a contrast with it.
Acacia wood, used in the Wall color, is a popular wood characterized by its deep color, and is often used in furniture and wooden tableware.
Tamo wood, used in the Light color, is a precious wood characterized by its clear and beautiful grain, and is also used in high-end furniture.
