Hassegawa's original domestically produced Buddhist altar made from walnut wood, which is said to "protect the home with a hard shell." Its compact depth allows it to be placed in limited spaces. Also, even with a shallow depth, the interior space of the altar gives a spacious impression, designed for a relaxed display.
It is designed with a height of 108cm, slightly smaller than the floor-standing type.
It is constructed in two parts, divided into upper and lower sections, fixed with dowels to prevent shifting.

"Prana" means "life force" in Sanskrit. It was named with the hope that visitors will feel the power to live through visiting the Buddhist altar.

The upper shelf and Sumeri-dan, where the principal image and memorial tablets are enshrined, are removable, allowing even large principal images to be placed. When the upper shelf and Sumeri-dan are removed, it can accommodate principal images or memorial tablets up to about 40cm in size.
*Upper shelf... refers to the topmost tier of the Buddhist altar.
*Sumeri-dan... is the platform on which the principal image is placed.

Also, since the interior is designed to allow the shelf to enter inside the altar, you can close the door while keeping the Buddhist utensils displayed.

An LED light is installed on the interior ceiling, and it can be easily turned on with the switch at the center of the light.
