New Sensor Corporation (NS), a US company that owns brands such as SOVTEK and Electro-Harmonix, has reissued TUNG-SOL vacuum tubes.
The 5881, released by TUNG-SOL in 1954, had such a significant impact on audio and guitar amplifiers that it could be said to have ignited the trend toward Hi-Fi at the time. Consequently, this original TUNG-SOL 5881 became one of the legendary tubes representing the 1950s.
NS plans, designs, and manufactures TUNG-SOL brand vacuum tubes to be faithful even to tight inputs, highly reliable, and to provide warmth across all output ranges.
The country of manufacture is Russia.
