The basic storage method for lever drag reels is to release the drag.
However, if stored as is, the spool will rotate in reverse and backlash easily.
Previously, there was no definitively convenient solution, such as using masking tape or tying a rubber band to the end of the leader.
This product uses a thin fastener belt that is easy to attach and remove, and does not get in the way when changing spools.
It is also ideal for clutch-type bait reels and can be used with spinning reels.
