い草カーペットは和室の畳をカバーし、汚れや傷を防止してくれます。通常のカーペットと違い毛足が無いのでゴミや髪の毛などがからみにくく、掃除機やコロコロ（粘着シート）での掃除がラクにできます。裏面には滑り止め付きの不織布を貼っており、床を傷つけずソフトな踏み心地でフローリングの上でも滑りにくいです。い草には優れた消臭機能があり、汗臭やペット臭などの原因となる物質を消臭してくれます。い草には喘息の原因の一つとも言われる二酸化窒素や、シックハウス症候群の原因の一つのホルムアルデヒドを吸着してくれます。天然物質としては抗菌力の高い青森ヒバから抽出したヒノキチオールをい草生地に使用しており、抗菌防臭効果があります。い草の癒される香りとサラッとした肌触りはそのままに、和室や洋室にも合わせられるインテリア性の高いナチュラルシンプルなデザインで仕上げています。
