Lin Sahrari (Sahari) Funeoto is a handmade Lin produced by Kyoto craftsmen. It is a traditional product made by repeatedly polishing and tuning each Lin to match its individual characteristics while listening to the sound differences that arise during casting.
"Funeoto" is tuned to a clear, slightly high-pitched tone.

The main sound of the Lin combines a clear tone with a low-frequency undulation, and this complex tone is traditionally considered a "good sound."
The sound of the product changes greatly with even slight variations in the clay used for the mold and the alloy composition of the metal material used for casting.
Only products with a recognized acceptable tone, based on the experience and techniques passed down as a secret in the workshop, are circulated.

It carries the thoughts of Kyoto's traditional craftsmen, continuing since the Edo period, to convey various feelings of the player through the "sound."

It uses a copper-tin alloy called "Sahari," which has been used in Buddhist ritual implements such as Lin since ancient times.
A specialized coloring craftsman extracts the color of the base metal by immersing it in a special solution boiled from verdigris, then coats it with lacquer mixed with a small amount of pigment to finish. It develops more character over time.

・Because it is handmade, the color appearance may vary by product. Please understand.
・When cleaning, avoid using metal polish, detergents, or wet cloths; wipe with a soft dry cloth.
・Due to the product's characteristics, the color tone will gradually change and develop more flavor. This does not affect the tone itself, so it is fine to use as is.
・Because it uses hard metal, dropping or strong impacts may cause it to break, so please be careful.
